A year later...

Wow, almost forgot about this blog. Well...actually, I DID forget about it, I just happened to click on my google profile and see what all was in there...low and behold, my ramblings. It's amazing how much your life can change in a year. M. and I broke up this past February. We're still friends. The business is still going well, it's not always easy and there's ups and downs but that's to be expected when you're just getting off the ground. I'm not even sure what to write about at the moment. I am a much happier person than I used to be. I'm working out, losing weight (not coming off nearly fast enough, dang it!). I like being happy. I enjoy not being upset, frustrated, angry, sad, lonely. Not to say that I was those things all the time, but I found more often than not I was crying myself to sleep, and I didn't like the person I was, or had become. I've found me again and surprise, she's just a little bit dusty, and a bit hesitant, but she's there and she smiles a lot more. :)

I'm 33 years old, and a few years ago, I was freaked at the idea of being in my 30's, not married, no children, not settled. I had my entire life mapped out, which pretty much derailed 10 years ago when I was 23. I still want those things, don't get me wrong...but I am just enjoying living life in the now, seeing what things come next. I think some people I've met have helped in that area, caused me to just take things at a slower pace. I'm pretty much the typical Aries...go go go. Take life and just go all out. Sometimes impulsive. Fiery gal, lol. I think I've found a good balance now.

Is this post even making any sense? It is to me, but I'm a bit all over the place. Guess it's my ADD kicking in. I think that's it for now. Not a bad start. We'll see if I keep up with this or not. I always have so much going on my plate, always a ton of projects going on at once- usually to do with my business. Strangely enough, I don't really do all that much "me" time, although I have a bit more recently. Even when I'm on facebook, I almost always have about 15+ im's up answering questions for work and whatnot.

So...ending this entry for today, I may be back...I may not. No promises, no expectations. I'm just talking to myself here anyways :P

Insert Witty Title Here

Another rainy day here in Ohio. Have spent most of it chasing after our two dogs with a towel trying to dry off their feet when they come inside (I just cleaned my carpets). Thinking about starting a fire in the fireplace. M. is parked in his usual spot in front of the tv playing Uncharted 3, the father-in-law is upstairs fiddling with his flatscreen and I'm curled on the couch working on my website (and procrastinating a bit by blogging and answering questions on facebook, ha). I'm stuck on this html code for a "more information" pop-up button. The code I've been using has gone haywire and now instead of posting each individual description, it's attributing one description to all my products. Blah.

I've also been working on rehairing a custom Monster High doll- it's taking forever to do. Part of it is because I'm using an actual doll hair needle instead of my rooting tool, and the other part is I have a habit of playing with the hair and looking at her after putting in each plug. I'd be halfway done if I didn't do that, ha! I have to keep reminding myself that it's working not playing.

I've been tossing around the idea of finishing my two books that I started awhile ago, have had such a writers block though. No worries, I may have poor grammar here, but I can write properly when need be. I'm just lazy here, lol.

Not much else going on today. Random bit of news- what on earth could be going through people's minds? Did they just wake up one day and think....gee...I think it would look so awesome if I made it look like my forehead has a bagel in it? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/26/bagel-head-forehead-injections-japan-saline_n_1916188.html

Rainy Wednesday

And so begins my ramblings. It's a crappy day today. All my friends are in foul moods, M. (my boyfriend) is in a foul mood, I'm in a foul mood. Even my dogs are grouchy. Bills are due and money is short, isn't that always the case? On a plus side, my new online business is doing quite well, as soon as I can get more stock in, I know it will do even better. I am also an artist- I do tons of creative things- customizing my little ponies, dolls (including Monster High dolls), shoes, and basically anything I can transform into something else.

Art is my outlet. It's my therapy. It's also stressful at times, especially when I get into a creative block. So I've decided to try my hand at blogging to get out some of those frustrations about my art, my work, and every day life. M. and I are trying for a baby- that in itself is wonderful, amazing, exciting, and scary. I'll be writing about that too. Right now my thoughts are kind of all over the place, but bear with me....I'll start making sense eventually. I hope. :P
